Technique:
Multiple fluoroscopic images of the esophagus were obtained after the oral administration of effervescent granules and liquid barium.


Findings:
The swallow mechanism is intact. There is no laryngeal penetration or aspiration.

The esophagus demonstrates normal motility. There is no evidence of intrinsic or extrinsic mass or polyp. No constricting or obstructing lesion is identified. There is no mucosal ulceration. Mucosal folds are normal in appearance. No gastroesophageal reflux is seen.


Impression:
Unremarkable evaluation of the esophagus.
